Why Do I Need a Life Insurance Exam?

Why
Do I Need a Life Insurance Exam?

A life insurance exam is standard practice
- many life insurance carriers require that applicants take medical exams to
determine the rate you are charged for your term and whole life insurance
policies. Although you may want to avoid an exam or feel it is unnecessary, you
will generally get a better rate if you submit yourself to a life insurance
exam by a paramedical professional. These medical professionals are paid by
life insurance companies to perform exams and report the findings back to them.
Many times they are mobile and can come to you, or you can schedule an exam at
a clinic specified by the insurance company. If you are under 40 and in good
health, you may not need to take a medical exam in order to obtain life
insurance. Each company has its own requirements, so it is best to check with your
agent.

What
Will Be Checked in My Life Insurance Exam?

If you are under 60, your life insurance
exam may be simple and only your vitals are taken along with your measurements.
These include your blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and height.   You will
be required to answer questions about your health and health history. As you
get older or the amount of life insurance you are trying to get goes up, your
life insurance exam will be more detailed. You may be required to have blood
taken, give a urine sample, have an EKG, and you may have to take a treadmill
test. For example, if you are 50 and in good general health, you may only be
required to answer a few basic health questions and have your heart rate, blood
pressure and weight checked. If you are 70 and taking out a large policy of
over $1 million, you may be required to have all of those tests done, plus an
EKG,  a treadmill test,  and a complete workup of your blood and urine.

What
are They Looking For?

Life insurance companies use the information
obtained from your life insurance exam to calculate how long you are expected
to live. They have very detailed and tightly set standards that they compare
your results to in order to determine how long your projected life span will
be. The companies than calculate your rate according to their set
specifications and the findings of your exam.

What
If I Have a Pre-existing Condition?

Even if you have a pre-existing condition (such
as diabetes or heart disease), you may still be able to get
life insurance. Health problems don’t necessarily put you
out of the running. You will have to pay a higher premium than a healthy
individual, and insurance companies have rate tables they use to determine the
rate you will pay. They compare the results of your life insurance exam to the
tables and then issue you a
life insurance
quote
.
If you feel it is too high, your agent may be able to negotiate with the company
to get you a lower rate.

Gallon Challenge Tips

In the heat of the moment and the macho attitude to prove to everyone that you can win this challenge in a blink of an eye, many people end up making a fool of themselves. You too would be tempted by this notion, however let me remind you, not fruitless chivalry, but strategically playing this game will help you find a way out. Want some beneficial gallon challenge strategy tips to fool your mind and stomach from throwing up? Then keep reading.
•If you think that you can gulp down an entire gallon of milk in let’s say 10 or 15 minutes, then you’re wrong. So let’s not even go there.
•Know this that your stomach, on an average, can take in about 1 liter of liquid at a time. And the gallon of milk is around 3.8 liters. You do the math.
•You have an entire hour, so plan this properly. Slow and steady wins the race.
•If you divide the hour into 4 sections, you get four 15 minutes spaced time to drink the gallon of milk.
•So divide the gallon of milk into 4 cups and drink each cup in 15 minutes.
•And if you succeed in the challenge, don’t for whatever reason move from your place.
•After you’re done drinking, any kind of movement will set things in motion; and you don’t want that.
•Don’t jump, run, laugh too loudly, stretch, or walk. Just sit in one place for about an hour or so to keep the milk down.

The Game of Tic Tac Toe

Tic tac toe is a game known by many names, namely ‘crosses and zeros’, ‘noughts and crosses’, etc. Tic tac toe is a board game played on a 3 x 3 grid of squares (total 9 squares). Unfortunately, the game is only interesting till you have discovered the unbeatable tic tac toe strategy, after which the players tend to move on to more sophisticated games. In a game of tic tac toe, one player has crosses and the other has noughts. The first player to get three of his symbols in one line (i.e. three crosses or three noughts in a straight line) is the one that wins the game. To avoid losing, each player must play one of the following in the order of importance at that phase of the game.
•The first and most obvious tic tac toe strategy is to play for a win, i.e. if you already have two in a row, play the third one in the same line in order to win the game.
•In order to stay in the game, if the opponent has two squares in a row, it is imperative to block the third square.
•Always be on a look out to create a fork. A fork is where you are in a position to win the game in two possible ways. Even if the opponent blocks one route there is another that you can take and win in the next chance of play.
•Be aware of the probability and placement of your opponent’s fork and play to block it.
•The ultimate tic tac toe strategy if you are starting, is to always play the center square rather than the corners. Corners give players the smallest scope of defense to avoid losing.
•If the opponent has made a move in an empty corner, play the opposite corner. If you are stuck for play, play an empty corner or an empty side, whichever lends itself to the game.
Now, let us move on to some tic tac toe strategies. Master this tic tac toe strategy guide and you will never lose another tic tac toe game ever in your life. Know more on other top board games.

Easy Hacky Sack Tricks

Okay, we will start off with the easier tricks because probably most of those reading this might be reading about Hacky Sack for the first time.

Clipper
In this trick what is done is that a player kicks the footbag using the inside of your foot, from behind his support leg. In other words the catching leg has to be tucked behind the supporting leg and the supporting leg has to be bent well for balancing.

Flying
There are a couple of variants of this trick. One is flying inside and the other is flying outside. In the former, there is an inside kick while the player is in mid-air, in the latter, the player performs an outside kick while in mid-air.

Toe Delay
This is one of the hacky sack tricks for beginners. If you learn hacky sack, this is perhaps the first thing you would learn. In this trick, what you need to do is just stall the footbag on the top of your foot. Yes, soccer players also do this sometimes!

Some More Delays
Yet another of the very common footbag tricks is the inside delay. Simply stall the hacky sack on the inner portion or inside of your foot. Simple? Try it! A complete opposite of this is the outside delay. In this one, the player stalls the hacky sack on the outside of his foot. Another variation of the delay amongst hacky sack tricks is the knee delay. The player simply stalls the Hacky Sack on the knee. That is all it is to the knee delay. Talk of some more delays and you have another delay, called the forehead delay. Stalling the footbag on the forehead is involved in this trick. I think if done properly, this can turn out to be one of those cool hacky sack tricks.
